Catch Concepts is a collection of restaurants in Kennedy Town, Central and Tai Hang, Hong Kong. Founded by husband and wife team Alex & Danielle Malouf.

With the first restaurant becoming the flagship of the group. Catch, an Australian restaurant known for its fresh seafood and famous for it’s weekend brunch, winning multiple awards with Foodie, The Loop and Crave publications. The demand came too big for the little 20 seat space so in in 2015 the restaurant was moved next door to a larger dining room. It became and still is a Kennedy Town favourite for locals and a hot spot for brunching tourists.

In September of 2016 The group opened Mama Malouf, a modern Lebanese restaurant paying homage to founder Alex’s mother, Amal Malouf, born and raised in Lebanon with generations of food knowledge passed down to her it’s only fitting her son opened his own Middle Eastern restaurant in Hong Kong. Mama Malouf offers the perfect mix of tradition and modern creativity, with dishes like the haloumi & fontina cheese fondue, or the beef kafta in chermoula with feta and padron peppers. The dining room is vibrant and the music is loud. Just how Mama likes it.

In 2018 the group made the move to the other side of town, Tai Hang. Here Elementary was born. Taking its name from the street its on, School St, whilst being located right next to an old Elementary School. With minimalist yet fetching decor, creative and inspired cuisine and a neighbourly vibe, it earned the award as one of Tatlers best new restaurants in 2019. With modern Australian cuisine being somewhat of a rarity in Hong Kong it’s definitely found it’s place on the culinary map.
